Category: Suggested Products

Hello gang,

So I just started using a WONDERFUL green and botanically based product line by Arbonne! They are green conscious, and the products are mineral oil free, and gluten-free. They pretty much have almost everything you could possibly think of!!! The most popular line is the RE9 line which is #1 in firmness and #1 skin complexion improvements (i.e. reducing redness, pore size reduction, etc). It’s a unisex line so it’s not strictly limited to women. Also, they have a men’s shaving line, baby line, shampoos, protein shakes, supplements, skin care, tooth paste, mouth wash, the list goes on and on! Anyway, it’s pretty good stuff and I would definitely recommend it! On top of the you don’t have to buy retail ;) Just pay $29.99 and you will receive 20% off on all products for a full year plus you get the inside scoop on new products. Starting in Sept. the holiday line comes out…I can’t wait!!! If you want to know more shoot me an email and I can help you find this amazing product!

Wow! All I can say is, “thank you so much” for the nomination from Jay Rando and his self improvement blog! I am honored and humbled by the positive feedback and those who are brave enough to ask questions and to submit a topic. This blog wouldn’t function without all of you =) I have to admit I’m a little green when it comes to blogging so I had to look up the “Kreativ Blogger Award” it basically is a shout out to those blogs that you personally find to be the most helpful, moving, or intriguing to read. I love it cause there are so many of us that might not know about the other blogs in the digital world so for lack of a better analogy to some degree it’s like Pinterest for bloggers-minus the pictures :) Anyway, so here are the rules of accepting and passing along this award:

Hello Fellow Bloggers,

I am in the process of helping a group of friends with a new non-profit based out of (but not limited too) Laguna in Orange County, CA. This event flyer is to annouce the grand opening scheduled today! The project assists cancer warriors by helping provide financial relief for expensive and necessary treatments and hospital bills. If you would like to donate you can purchase a shirt at www.dwbhshirts.org. All the shirts are American made from high quality cloth. And for those of you who are pet lovers they offer dog/cat shirts as well! If you are local and can make it I would love it for you to come, if you cannot please buy a shirt- It’s a tax write off and you would be helping a stranger!

Spread the Love

Alright, so a fellow blogger has set an example, and I have to say it was a damn good one :) Instead of just blabbing on he decided to share the “love” and knowledge that blogs can provide. And what a great idea! So a big thank you to Tanguyenable.

God only knows with having a full-time job, marriage, and way too many creative interests finding time to read fellow blogs has proved challenging. When I do get to it, I am entertained, sometimes inspired, and often moved. It’s nice to see people contributing their thoughts, personal growths, and creative insights. So, here are the people that I have found interesting to date. My hope is to expand upon this list at a later date :)

Tanguyenable- a blog that is creatively random yet honest and thoughtful, he generally describes his personal growth experiences as well as lessons that we all could appreciate, relate to, and learn from.

This Man’s Journey-a blog that integrates photography with parenting. I love that he does weekly photo challenges, something I should push myself to do as well :)

I Am Not Defined- a fellow advice columnist/blogger honest and poignant. I always look forward to what comes next.

Bakers Royal- a personal friend, co-worker, photographer, mother and an amazingly creative person. I wish I had half the energy that she did! Her treats are amazingly delicious! Congrats on the potential book deal :)

Happy 4th to all of those who serve!!!

Earlier this week I was out getting coffee for a meeting at my workplace and I saw something that made me completely choke up! They have bags of coffee (Support from Home Blend) that you can buy and add a personal message to send out to our troops who are serving. I read quite a few of the messages some were a simple “Thank you” others were quite long and sweet. However, one really stood out for me. A 7-year-old had written “Thank you for saving our world”  That pretty much did me in! Here is a pic of just a small section of the stack of coffee donated by the generous people in Fountain Valley, CA:

If you would like to donate a bag here is the link:

A dollar from each bag will be donated to the Fisher House. (See website for more details)

Another store that is doing their part is Old Navy. You can buy a t-shirt or tank top and they will send one free to a service member for FREE!! Here is a pic of one of the shirts:

In honor of their contributions and dedication to defending our nation what better way to thank them by giving back!

So I have gotten stuck on a new kick and have found a product I absolutely LOVE! I am not a big coffee fan and find myself crashing around 2:30 everyday at work. That was until I started drinking 8 oz of CranEnergy by Oceanspray every morning. This juice literally keeps me going all day and it’s natural and a healthier alternative to coffee. When I drink this as opposed to coffee I do not have to worry about feeling jittery or coping with the crash that comes after.  So about a year ago I started drinking CranEnergy every morning before work. It really keeps me going and focused throughout the day. So far everyone that I have known who has tried it has been pretty happy with the results.  It currently comes in 3 flavors, raspberry (my personal favorite), pomegranate, and obviously cranberry. So if you are in the market for a healthy pick up this is my vote!
